Nutrition
The nutrition of the Bronze Pinecone consists mainly of a vegetarian diet.
It eats using a radula that is common to the class
Gastropoda. The radula is a
tongue-like structure used for scrapping off material to eat.
They mainly chew on leaves, bark
(which is common this snail
because of its habitat) and decomposed
materials. They do have a complete digestion tract, however, the
anus is located near the head of snail and a problem a fouling
occurs. Gastropods have an open
circulatory system unlike humans who have closed system where blood does
not leave our blood vessels. For more information on Gastropods,
