My name is Carrie Colling. I am currently a freshman at University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. I am majoring in Biology, with a Nutrition minor. After graduation, I plan to continue on to graduate school for physical therapy. My hobbies include running, reading, and skiing. This website was created as part of a project for an Animal Biology course here at the university. I was responsible for the Form and Function, Nutrition and Habitat portions of the site, and also worked on the Classification and Facts pages. For more information about this fascinating species or the making of this website, please visit Multipleorganisms.net or UW-L’s home page here. If you have questions, comments, or concerns about this information or this website, please contact me at colling.carr@uwlax.edu.
Hey, my name is Sofia Noguera! I am a freshman at UW-La Crosse; I’m majoring in Biomedical Sciences and double minoring in French and Spanish. I actually lived in Spain until I was 8 years old, when I moved to Wisconsin. In my free time I like read, long board and eat. For this project I wrote the Reproduction and Interaction pages, as well as worked on the Classifications and Facts pages.
Fun fact: When I was 13 years old I visited Florida with my parents. While we were there we went swimming in an area that had many Bottlenose Dolphins, and one approached me. It swam at me and started splashing and making noises, it definitely scared me and safe to say I never want to swim with one again.
