Circulation
The Pink Mucket is in the phylum
mollusca so therefore it has an open circulatory system.
The pink mucket uses hemolymph as a transport fluid and has a
rudimentary heart to pump this hemolymph throughout its system.
The pink mucket has a few arteries and veins but mostly the
transport fluid (hemolymph) is not confined to the blood
vessels. This type of circulatory system creates a low
pressure system which is favors sedentary organisms like the
Pink mucket.
