About me

 

My name is Sara Avery. I am a student at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. This web page about pine pitch cankers is a project for my Organismal Biology class.

 

My major here at UW-L is Pre Med/Biology with a minor in Spanish. I hope to one day get into Medical School and become a Pediatrician. Outside of school I enjoy running and playing soccer and just staying active. I enjoy spending my time outdoors as well as with family and friends back home in Appleton, WI.

 

One of my favorite things to do during the summer is camping. I travel all around the country with my family enjoying nature. I love to watch the deer run away from us as we're hiking. I also love riding horses through the mountains. I have also been on many vacations with my family to the Caribbean. Some of my favorite memories include swimming with the stingrays and zip lining over the rain forest.
