Lauren Cejka
Hi, my name is Lauren Cejka and I am currently
a freshman at the
University of
Wisconsin – La Crosse. I am a Pre-Med undergraduate student
majoring in Biology with a Biomedical Sciences concentration and
a minor in Chemistry. I hope to attend Medical School once I
graduate and eventually become a Doctor of Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation.
I love Biology because the things that I learn about in class, I
get to see every day outside of the classroom. When I am not
busy with schoolwork, I enjoy spending time with my family and
friends, running and relaxing. I also spend much of my time
volunteering. I volunteer at the
Heart and Vascular Institute at the
Aspirus Wausau Hospital. I am from Wausau, WI and have
lived there all my life. I graduated from
Wausau West High School in 2011.
I have created this website for my Organismal Biology class here
at UW-La Crosse
taught by Dr. Tom Volk and Dr. Greg Sandland. The theme for this
year’s webpage was organisms that are food or produce food. I
absolutely love fruit and I thought kiwifruit would be an
interesting choice because I did not know that much about the
fruit or the plant.
If you have any questions, please contact me at
lmcejka@live.com.
Feel free to explore other organisms on the
Multiple Organisms website created by the other Organismal
Biology classes before me.
