ABOUT US:
My name is Alexa Flores and I am a student at the University of
Wisconsin- La Crosse. I am a Biology major with an emphasis on
Pre-Dentistry. Upon graduation I would like to attend graduate
school at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In my
free time I enjoy reading and playing soccer.
Hello! My name is Karley Brunner. I am currently a freshman at
University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. I am working on a major in
Biology Pre-med with hopes of becoming an anesthesiology
assistant. When I'm not studying I enjoy playing sports,
especially volleyball and lacrosse, both of which I played all four
years in high school.
We created this web site as part of a grade for our Organismal
Biology class at
Universityof Wisconsin- La Crosse. We chose
this organism because we both share interest in giraffes and
wanted to learn more.
We would like to give a special thanks to Peter Geraerdts for his beautiful images of the Thornicroft giraffe. We would not have been able to complete this website without him. Thank you!
