Facts

     The Boreal Top snail is listed as being of special concern by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Despite this listing, there are no protection efforts in effect. This is because we do not know enough about this species to put a protection plan in place.  It would not make sense to implement a protection plan when we cannot say what this organism needs in order to flourish in its environment.

     Zoogenetes harpa is the only organism Zoogenetes (AnimalBase).
