About Me
Hello! My name is Torin Boernke, I am from Marshfield,
Wisconsin, and a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin La
Crosse. Organisms and their complexity has always fascinated me
and is the reason I am working towards a major in Biomedical
Sciences and a Chemistry minor. This website was a project
assigned as part my Organismal Biology class, the reason I chose
to study the Organism Eciton hamatum was because it is
poisonous and a nomadic ant colony! I hope by reviewing my
website you are as surprised and interested by these ants as I
am. When I am not studying for school I enjoy doing outside
activities such as hunting, hiking, or running.
